Heavy Vehicle Factory Junior Technician Bharti 2026: Selection Process

| Junior Technician (Contract) | Preference will be given in the following order: 1) HVF Ex-Trade Apprentices, failing which 2) Erstwhile OFB Ex-Trade Apprentices, failing which 3) Other NTC/NAC holders. HVF Ex-Trade Apprentices: Candidates will be shortlisted based on Month/Year of passing NAC (within which NAC marks out of 400) in the respective trades. Erstwhile OFB Ex-Trade Apprentices: Candidates will be shortlisted based on Month/Year of passing NAC (within which NAC marks out of 400) in the respective trades. Other NTC/NAC Holders: Shortlisting will be based on marks obtained in the final examination of NTC/NAC. In case a candidate possesses both NTC and NAC, only NTC marks will be considered for shortlisting. Non-NAC/NTC/STC Holders: Candidates possessing only Class 10th with relevant experience will be shortlisted based on the number of years of experience. Note: HVF Ex-Trade Apprentices shall also have to submit Offline Application to be considered for Document Verification and Trade Test.
The Trade Test (Practical) is designed to be a qualifying assessment only, meaning it won’t carry any marks. It’s important to note that candidates who don’t pass the Trade Test won’t be considered for the position, regardless of the scores they achieved in the final examination of NTC/NAC/10th for this FTC Exercise.
Heavy Vehicle Factory Junior Technician Bharti 2026: Salary Details
- During their time, Junior Technicians (Contract) will receive a monthly salary structured as follows:
- i) A Basic Pay starting at Rs. 21,000/-
- ii) An Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) as applicable
- iii) A Special Allowance of 5% of the Basic Pay
- iv) An annual increment of 3% on the Basic Pay, granted only after successfully completing the previous tenure.
- Additionally, they will receive Rs. 3000 each month to cover various needs, including Medical and Accident Insurance Premiums, transportation, and telephone services.
- Contributions to the Provident Fund will be made in accordance with the statutory provisions outlined in the EPF Rules.
